The Board meeting held at the Rosemount American Legion was called to order at 6:45 p.m. by President Brooks Johnson.
Board members present: Brooks Johnson, Matt Johnson, Dale Hagen, Shawn Ruotsinoja, Terry Banitt , Dwayne Nelson, and Greg Smith. Board members absent: Dick Phillips
Members Present: Randy Doyle, Dan Buzicky and Adam Schmidt
The Board talked about Crossbows in the MN archery season. This issue could come up at the next legislative session. It was noted that the MN Deer Hunters Association Board has voted to support including crossbows into the bow hunting deer season. MBI is going to draw up a resolution on why archery deer hunters oppose crossbows during the archery deer season.
Talked about having six events at the 2016 Game Fair (Board is calling it the Six Pack).
A lot of work has been done with the web site. Dwayne explained what has been done. We talked about offering members the option of selecting an electronic version of the newsletter which could be emailed to members. This could save MBI money that could be used for other efforts.
An MBI NASP funding request form is now on the MBI website.
Dwayne explained the definition of a 100% club as written in the MBI bylaws.
MBI added two new board members: Dan Buzicky from Shakopee, MN and Adam Schmidt also from Shakopee.

The Treasurers report and the Secretaries report were accepted.
We met with Representatives from the Rapids Archery Club to discuss 2015 & 2016 Game Fairs.
We approved a NASP MBI grant application form.
We approved charges for Ads in the newsletter and on the web site.
We agreed to put a summary of board meetings on our web site.
We will have a members corner in our newsletter to recognize members who have died since the last newsletter.
